Shelter and Stock aims to make its information usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, high contrast and common assistive technology.
Current practices
- Semantic headings, landmarks and link text.
- Visible keyboard focus and a skip link.
- Responsive text and layouts without horizontal page scrolling at common mobile widths.
- Light, dark and system themes with readable contrast.
- Language declared separately for English and Spanish pages.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected.
- Alternative text required for final informative images.
Report a problem
If a page or control is difficult to use, send the page address, the problem and any assistive technology involved through the contact form and choose Accessibility. Shelter and Stock will review the report and provide the information in another reasonable format when possible.
The Spanish version is at Accesibilidad.
