Shelter and Stock uses browser storage for preferences and may use analytics cookies only after you accept them. This policy adds detail to the privacy policy.
Necessary browser storage
- `shelter-stock-cookie-consent` remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.
- `shelter-stock-theme` remembers system, light or dark appearance.
These values stay in your browser until you change them or clear site data. They are not used for advertising.
Optional analytics
If configured, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after consent. Google may set `_ga` and related cookies. Microsoft may set `_clck` and `_clsk`. Their normal lifetimes and practices are controlled by those providers and may change. Advertising storage, ad personalization and targeted-advertising signals remain disabled.
Affiliate and external links
An affiliate or external site may set cookies after you follow a link. Its own cookie and privacy policies then apply. Shelter and Stock does not permit an external service to set an affiliate cookie merely because you viewed a Shelter and Stock page.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings or Your privacy choices in the footer. Accept and Decline receive equal treatment, and declining does not block access to the site. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics disabled. See the cookie settings page for the current control.
